You can probably get a good deal from anyone here who doesn't have moso or henon shooting yet for a better price than the nurseries especially if they happen to be within driving distance, or at least the same shipping zone. I would be able to offer some however all i have now is 1 month old moso seedlings which are still questionable, and a potted henon which just got divided up last fall as the divisions were given to neighbors, and will take another year to pick up steam again.

Needmore will probably be willing to help you out in getting some giants growing in your ideal climate as he has lots of mature groves.

Seeing how those branches fan out at that slanted angle, could you possibly have phyllostachys aurea?

If it is aurea, that would explain the rapid spread in only the first year, and the appearance of your shoots that don't look like they have red margins.

Hmm I dont know but all of the boo came from this grove last year the guy that owns it said it was rubro

Also i only bought one of the golden last year and the shoots this year on it does not even look like all of the others here it is i will get some shots of the new culms on it tomorrow

Also all of my bamboo is pretty much in full sun so i know that can turn the culms that color right

Looks like phyllostachys aurea to me too. Some of the large culms in the photos you posted have contortions typical to aurea.

Aurea gets about 30-35 feet tall and around 2 inch thick culms. You have a good climate for it to get big.
