Pogonatherum paniceum - Baby Bamboo

Any one tried this one. I saw it in some magazine at the doctors office and it looked pretty neat. That is for not being a true bamboo.

Here is a link with a picture although definately not as good as the one in the magazine I saw.

This is a better representation.

I bought about 5 pots of them from Ikea in 2005 and kept them as houseplants for about half a year before they expired on me. They grew quite straggly and so I pruned them back, thinking that they are grasses after all and that they'd bounce back. They didn't. :(
But to qualify, I'm not very good with houseplants.

cheers,
Adrian.
