Loony K's Video http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a254/ ... newest.flv was so awe-inspiring that I thought we might need a place to share more.
Here's a greenhouse adventure film I made with my kids indoors in the dead of winter...

Chalk it up as another case of cabin fever. Next time I'm going to videotape the kids bouncing off hay bales. Man, why didn't I think of that?

Thuja,
That was cool! I like your greenhouse. I have been toying with the idea of getting one after Mantis' purchase, and doing some research. That's cool your kids are growing up with plants in that way.
Oh, and thanks for giving Mimosa pudica a good role in the film as well! I remember being in my middle school science class, and my teacher had a decent sized container of one in the classroom. Oh, and don't worry, I won't ask where you got your seeds, I just checked tradewindfruit.com and saw they had them. Wish I would have checked the tropical seeds on my last order (showing up today?)! =D

PS, for those who might get a "cannot connect to server" error with Windows Media Player when left clicking the link, I solved that by right-clicking, and saving locally to the hard drive first.

haha, I think it would be cool to live in a greenhouse in winter. I think it would help with my cabin fever to have the sun shining through and having tropical plants all around me. I would just have to watch out for the poisonous snakes, like you have hiding in your greenhouse. Scary.
Here is a video of my brother, the person that got me into bamboo in the first place.

I recognise that look. Here's 12 sec of the Wisconsin version.

I enjoyed your brother's video. He's a spitting image of you.

Rick, you're right about the sound. That's what induced me to videotape in the 1st place. The leaves actually sounded like a crystal chandelier.
I have a couple more movies unrelated to bamboo:

RE: OT Videos
Bamboo has a nice look in winter, in the northern states. If it was too green, it would look out of place.
The peewee project is a classic. Your kids will have something awesome to look back on when they are older. Wish my parents had video of me when I was a kid. That would have been crazy.
Here is another one I just did a couple days ago

Wow, those head-banging goats are really going at it. I thought that one staring at you was going to butt you too.
