You can brew Kambucha- pronounced [Com-boo-cha],
but that's more of a health thingy than a happy juice.
You can make a brew out of Amanita muscaria and feel quite "intoxicated". You don't want to overdue or take it raw, though. And I can't honestly speak from experience, although it wouldn't be illegal to do so.
Maybe if those darn Amanita muscaria grew around here like everywhere else in the country I would be more tempted.
I have brewed with ingredients such as: ginger, orange peel, coriander, and cinnamon. I bet that if I shred some boo shoot and add it to the wort during the boil I could definitely get something drinkable.
I'll try it, and if the first batch (5 gallons) is decent I'll brew and bottle another batch to send to anyone on here who is daring enough to try my concoction.

I'm not a fun guy (fungi), so no 'shrooms in my brew.
Pringles are definitely a possibility. When I was living in Tel Aviv many a meals were centered around 'Texas BBQ Pringles'. There is no such beast here (I believe in the states they are called mesquite BBQ). It was my comfort food
Now I'm getting nostalgic. Mmmmm... a can of pringles and a cheap bottle of Gato Blanco merlot
Coming down with bamboo fever, planting 20 varieties, then root pruning, spraying for mites and weeding the mounds for 20 years might be seen as a kind of torture, but I'm sure you hardly notice until you try to sell the plantation.
