moved in with this bamboo in a border - any ideas?

Hi,

This bamboo was a very compact (trimmed) feature when we moved in 15 months ago. 2 growing seasons later, we have a beautiful high screen around our patio

Now 10'+ and spreading around a foot per year, though the rhizomes may have been established before we moved in, from the pattern of spread.

Any ideas what it may be?

Kind of looks like Phy. bissetii to me.

Bessetii. It will spread another 6 feet next year. Keep it trimmed.
