It's big and green...

Looking for an ID on this bamboo. Dug it up at my mother's house in South Florida. Seems to run but not much. She's had it for 20 years without much invasion.

Clumpers for sure which explains the lack of running, I'm not a tropical guy but I believe you have Bambusa vulgaris - straight, green type, not one of the cultivars.

Needmore is correct. It is Bambusa vulgaris.
