Last time I saw my place in Indiana I still had one old gen F nitida that had not flowered, that was 8/2015. I suspect I'll be going back this summer so I'll look for it.

There are several new nitida x murieliae crossings here in Europe, which not only seem to be very hardy but also get rather big. Most promissing ones are 'Viking', Winter Joy', 'Obelisk', and 'Schensbossen'. I think they have a much higher chance to reach 15 feet+ than "normal" murielae seedlings if they ever make it to the US.
