- Location: We are less than one hour south of downtown Houston. We are located in Wild Peach, Texas located half way between Brazoria and West Columbia. Exit hwy 36 onto County Road 354. Take County Road 353 west . Go approximately 2.4 miles. We are on the left.

Bambusa odashimae flowering
Our bamboo group found a Bambusa odashimae flowering in the woods last week. It is undoubtably stress induced as the plant was dieing back from drought. Hopefully we got some pics I can share later.

Yes. I have several of them in the woods. Jeff saw it as we passed on the 4 wheeler. Linda took pics and I will share when she sends them.

If you were driving the four wheeler Jeff must have the eyes of an eagle..Zoom ZoomZoom. Keep an eye on them see if they actually produce seed could be interesting.

And it was almost dark. Linda had to take pictures in the dark with a flash.
