Yunnanensis??? Or gaolinensis
I have Yunnanensis planted next to my Gaolinensis but as it’s grown up it looks identical to my Gaolinensis, are they very similar or could I have two Gaolinensis?

I used fabric pots here, they do work well but man it is a booger to try and unpot them when the time comes, the bamboo roots bond with them. I worked and worked mine off pulling them inside out to save the pot but after a couple I sliced away and gave up reusing them. That’s one of the advantages ...

Thanks for your input Matt , this Air-pot is different from others, I was not thinking long term use for bamboos but maybe benefit growing on divisions

I have had white seedlings before but they always die, I have also had white leafs on some bamboos but they grow out,but I have not seen a hole culm before

I've had some success growing a few genus of bamboo and I seem to have a knack for killing montane species, I'm certain my failures have been uppotting too soon/over watering/waterlogging. I would say that shoot is 100% aureosulcata , my one has no zigzag culms
