It looks a bit like autumn fern. I am not sure on the spores I am used to seeing them look a bit darker and shedding the spores. I have some mature groves of YG, Nuda, Bissetii, etc. and the single best barrier I have found is used, or "dead", billboard vinyls. I dig a trench around 24" deep and quadruple the billboard vinyls. I only do it to protect other plantings, otherwise I just dig what I want to give awa...

Just wondering if anyone out there has hardy ferns? I would like to get some fern spores from anyone that is willing to share. We have native Christmas Ferns here. They handle full sun, drought, etc. They appreciate better treatment, but they are tough. They may do well for you. PM me if you'd like...
