testing linked gifs

I know we aren't supposed to be using html in our posts anymore, but animated gifs are not working with IMG code, only with html...

With IMG code:

with HTML code: <img src="http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f361/ ... ainsaw.gif">

Edit: I see that IMG code also changes the background from transparent to pink.
