Ok, I got the emoticons right the second time. I probably should have the first time, but I didn't review the topic.

Is that similar to smoking banana peels, or eating Psilocybe mushrooms?

I was also going to list toad licking, but apparently that myth has been debunked. You actually have to smoke the toads skin to get any psychoactive effects. :yuck:

I like almonds. I wish I could grow almonds here. In some catalogs they would be selling hall's hardy almond. But if one researches it, they will find out it is some peach hybrid, that has somewhat bitter 'nuts' .
I tried a peach nut before, and it has a wicked strong taste. It reminds me when I chewed on black cherry bark.

Is that similar to the 'sweetheart' apricot tree? We planted one of those a couple years ago and are hoping for apricot almonds.

Alot of things are toxic in high doses. I was trying one. It wasn't a castor bean. I know level of toxicity before I try things. Like, when I had to remove the paint off the walls, I knew it wasn't lead based, so I chewed it off. 8)
