Hi,
I just bought a bamboo plant in Singapore and need help with ID. Picture attached.

I think there are not too many species it could be - Bambusa lako, Gigantachloa atrovviolacea, Dendrocalamus asper 'Betung Hitam', or Bambusa sp. 'New Guinea Black'. For yours it is most likely one of the first 2.

Hmm, but this is not black bamboo.. It's green, all through.

Well then never mind, on my screen your photo has solid black canes.
