Found a plot of land that has these bamboo plants growing on them. Tallest mature culm looks to be between 30-40 feet tall. Thickest culm looks to be about 3in thick. Any help identifying them would be great. I'd be happy to post the pictures on here to help widen your index. I've tried to match to other photos for stalks that have that thin yellow line running up it, but have not yet found a species that is a direct match. Thank you to anyone taking the time to look.

Greetings, I think that if you check out photos of Phyllostachys aureosulcata you'll find a match. Some of the younger (darker) culms should feel rough when you slide your hand 'up culm'.

That's what I was leaning to when I saw it, but the mature culms get dark, greyish green. It looks like Phyllostachys aureosulcata is very yellow when mature.

You really can't go by the culm color as they change with age/light etc. New culms on yours should be darker green with a yellow sulcus and rough on the up rub. Over time they will change color.
