Letting in the light

But, not by design.
Last week as an atmospheric river approached a pine which had shaded a few fargesias fell down.

Today
Now seems bamboo-centric as before the pine swooped down in front of four bamboo blocking and shading a large portion from sight.

It looks so different! At least it exposed them to more sun in winter so they can acclimate more gently.
