The website is at http://www.lgcc-abs.org/Yes, Daphne, it will be a whiz bang, Cajun shindig, BUT the date is Feb 19-21st.. Friday nite THRU Sunday. The GROVE thinning will be a LARGE grove of Moso, most all 4 inch in dia. or larger. If you've never been in a grove of truly large bamboo, you will be literally blown away. One can BUY poles afterward (this IS a fundraiser for the Louisiana Chapter), AND one can dig starts for transplant, from the Moso, or Henon or others that are nearby.. One can ONLY dig after the work party is done. And BTW, one MUST be a member of the La, Bamboo Chapter, but one can "pay at the gate", and it's $15 bucks (I think that is still correct.)).. Check the LA Chapter web site to be sure, or email Andy Ringler, for details..
Best regards from Central Texas
