Here is a follow up on winter damage, as usual, for some reason can only post 3 pictures at a time;

P vivax stand is KTG as expected, except for a few dozen new leaves, but also only sending up a few thin shoots.  Wondering if this indicates some freeze damage underground?

mix of P nuda and P aureosulcata alata not doing making much of a comeback, this was in particularly wind exposed location.

That is brutal looking. That looks like a lot of work to clean up. I couldn't handle being set back like that. At least some clawed their way back.
