For siting, try not to put in full sun, which tends to make their leaves curl up. I had one on north side of house that did great (until it flowered) but would curl up when afternoon sun hit it.

Transplant like any other plant, with some nice compost or similar in hole, and some slow release fertilizer. Water regularly if needed for first year.

damn thing barely had any roots :( the clump is maybe 4 inches across, and maybe a fist full of roots. However its STILL growing ven after being half killed last winter (protection blew off, so i moved it to a better spot with less competition and more sun)

Given the size & lack of roots it might be best to wait till Spring. Unless you feel you can dig all withoiut dirupting the rootball.

It did manage to actually put on some growth during the summer. Its a pretty sheltered spot that never dried out and had a lot of nutirtion. Im hoping it did well this winter.
