I ve seen some disscusions is it vivax, viridis or bambusoides maybe even on this forum, but love this bamboo grove.

I think that Phy viridis is the one of the three you can rule in or out, the culms will be dimpled if you run your thumbnail up them, you'll feel it.

It is in all likelihood phyllostachys violascens
The bulging internodes and faint stripes in P1230481.jpg are a pretty good indicator for this.

I agree with Nicolas. It is also quite common in Europe. I have found one not so far away too. Much smaller though..

I see that this nursery you order from has the yellow form of Phy vivax, a bamboo nursery near me has that species well over 15m tall and 7-10cm diameter, growing in a restricted space in a box maybe 1m wide by 4-6m long, it shares the box with a green form that is the same size. I should get photos for this forum, it is quite impressive.
