Hi and Thanks for the reply. Yeah whatever it is its really not performing :? Or maybe it is but my expectations are different then the genetics of the strain. Ok well that sounds good. I've also grabbed a large field division of the N. Boryana and there was a rhizome that came with it about 8' long that branched off in three seperate places too. The culms are a little over a inch right now so there's a lot of growing up to do with them too.

Hey fellow bamboo enthusiasts. I just planted some really nice field divisions from a friend of mines phyllostachs glauca grove. They were carefully dug out with a backhoe because the size was really almost unmanageable to man power alone. I just wanted to ask and see from other people's experiences...
