Mine came from Brad got it in 07' maybe 15' tall and mostly 3/4" very few 1" maybe 3-5 culms 1".

has anyone grown CHIMONOBAMBUSA TUMIDISSINODA indoors in a pot? and if so how did it grow? im in zone 6 and would bring indoors through winter.

Steve i think what everyone is to polite to say but im not is, that you don't have a clue what your doing , your ripping people off with sub-par boo that most likely dies,and your in it to make a quick buck.

zone 6 in south eastern IN. -20 is some what over rated. maybe more like 5 to 0 degrees would be a better low temp with 0 wind.

my 1 gal scabrida from bamboo garden bit the dust last year. not saying it was there fault or anything but don't think it can survive zone 6 like advertised. had it for 1 year

Hi all, my bissettii was planted in 2007 july from a 1 gal pot. This spring the shoots were same size as last @ about 1/2 inch, 10 ft tall. It does spread fast and produces lots of shoots.

black shoot?
my propinqua Beijing or what i thought was,has finally put up 2 small shoots that look almost black, but they look nothing like photos on this web site. I'm having trouble getting the pics from my phone to this site. Sure its a phyllo but not sure what type. any ideas of black colored shoots?
