The Bayer advanced label says to use 3 oz per 2 ft of shrub (1.47%). One 32oz bottle would treat 5 2 ft shrubs. That would mean one bottle for a 11 ft Boo. That seems like a lot to me. I would like to know what mixture /ratio other here have successfully used. I need to treat for mealy bugs. Thank y...

The Bambusa "nana" went for $220.00. Unsure who won it. Sure wish I would have drove my big truck. The silver stripe sea breeze did not show up. The Betung Hitam went for over $400.00.

I just got back back from Mercer where I purchased among other boos
B. subtruncata and D. grandis . Has anyone any info on these?

It was great seeing Steve Carter and Linda Gay again. They are really great people.

What to expect

I would like to grow Dendrocalamus asper 'Betung Hitam' and B. lako.
What should I expect from a freeze here in zone 9a (Baytown,Tx. near the coast)? Last year my Bambusa vulgaris 'Vittata' Froze but shot back nicely. Could I expect the same From the above boo?
