Has anyone played with intermixing these two? I'm wondering if used together they can out compete honeysuckle or privet.

What is the name of thin tissue paper like membrane on the inner walls of culms? Does anyone know if there is a traditional (or otherwise) use for this membrane by people (not the bamboo, but that might be interesting too)?
