Let one of the dogs out to go to bathroom and thought nothing of it. Far too much time passes so I go out to see what my dog is doing, mind you its late, dark, and raining so I know something is up. I go outside to see my 13 year old Jack Russell eating several bamboo shoots, which is something I have never seen. Took a few pictures before I removed my dog from the yard.
So yeah Dogs will eat bamboo..

If your dog does not mind travel nor closed minded people, you may be able to rent him to certain humans in CT.

DO NOT EAT THE CULMS! This does not stop the underground invasion. If your yard is invaded, your life is basically over!needmore wrote:If your dog does not mind travel nor closed minded people, you may be able to rent him to certain humans in CT.

Wouldn't have thought of it but I'm not surprised. My pup used to love his carrot snacks so it makes sense that if the shoot was sweet, they'll eat.
Mine also ate every time the new shoots on some tree ferns I tried growing. Could not grow them with him around.
