Will attempt to share pictures of an installation my crew & I did for a customer. These pictures are in reverse order. Am not so good w computer. Will post a larger install later if I figure out how to shrink the old file. I realize this is beyond many folks scale & budget (this installation cost my customer about $4,500, gauranteed to thrive.) But want to give folks ideas.

That's going to an impressive screen in a few years. Are the ends open on that barrier?

Here is a pic of a friend who put in barrier to keep an aurea screen out of the yard. This house is on the city, surrounded by other houses.Image

The small gap on the left of that pole is where a tree crushed the boo when it was cut down. Less than a year later it was completely screened in again.

Here is another one. Barrier is attached to newly installed fence. Backfilled w amended topsoil from site. 3rd picture is about 3 years later. I will get current pictures of both yards at some point soon.

Current pictures of above installations. This one was installed in 2005. Owner added front barrier in 2009 w my help. I think they are getting a bit root bound at this point and at least need thinning.

Here is the other one after 2 growing seasons. There are rhizomes 20 feet down the line not visible in pictures. Next spring will be have a lot of shoots here. This is bissetii, which tends to spread fast. Note how densest shooting along root barrier
