Ah shucks, people there didn't like my bamboo idea. Shock of all shocks. Look at the pic, cool to visualize bamboo screen there.

Lance, you should photoshop in a big beautiful well controlled bamboo grove in front of the fence but be sure to also include a human skeleton in the foreground sprawled out on the ground holding root pruners.

I was thinking of suggesting Hardy Orange for a hedge. It does lose its leaves in the fall, but its large thorns would put a stop to people driving on his lawn real quick. :shock:

Think it would grow too slow though, and as mentioned, not evergreen. Alot of times bamboo doesn't cross these people's minds when wanting a screen, even though its the most obvious solution in the right climate.
