Kreos123 - Is this in Croatia? I spent 5 days on the Dalmatian coast and it is now one of my favorite places, anytime we start planning a vacation we think we must go back to Croatia. Next time though, I want to stay longer and go inland to see the forests.

I was going to say that too. I don't grow it, but recently was researching it. The thin yellow stripes on the culms, the air roots. I think we need to see the shoots though... only a few more months before that happens. :D

Mature Phy dulcis can also develop those stripes and curves as well, the short internodes though caught my eye and I can see why the German forum folks thought of a form of Praecox.
