Site Updates

Post by bambooweb »

Over the next month I will be loading some updates to the site so if you notice a change feel free to tell me if you like it or hate it or have a suggestion to make it better. :hiding:

As an example roll your mouse over the bambooweb.info icon while in the forum.

Brad,
Do you have JavaScript turned off? You should see a dropdown menu.

Works fine on Explorer and Firefox, but Safari it doesn't.

What the heck are all you people doing with Mac's. I though I was the only one with a toy computer.

I wonder if you made the icon look a bit like a button (or tab) then it would be more intuitive that you could navigate from there. Or, maybe make the drop-down menu from the title bambooweb.info instead or in addition. Anyway, it's a nice feature (for those who know about it). :) Just a thought.

Yes, it reminds me of a video game. Have many secret/cheat codes all throughout bambooweb.info.

drop down menu

Hmmmm i noticed that feature without/before looking here. I thought i missed it(like it was there before). I like that because i was looking for a place to refer back to the site....and i only found the link under the title. this new feature works great. My only thought would be to add a few more "required fields" in the profile section...I have been manually asking some new members to fill out a bit more info. i.e. location and such. to me it is easier to distinguish who are valid members vs the potential spammers. I won't modify any settings myself without any "meeting" first...

I noticed the link from dropdown menu species list is a broken link. Not sure if all the rest work. But every other one I have tried, has.
