Happy New Year everyone!

Just got back from a trip to southern Spain with the family and saw some amazing bamboo groves at the La Concepcion Jardin Botanico-Historico just north of Malaga.

The garden itself is absolutely stunning, featuring a very lush mix of tropical to Mediterranean flora situated on a hillside with a grand view of the city and the Mediterranean sea.

Anyway, here are some pictures for like minded boo-fans! :)

We interrupt this thread for a breaking news story:
With winds approaching 100km/h, this post was washed away in a stormy sea of confusion. :blob6:
We now return you to your regular programme.

Just noticed that clicking on the thumbnails produces an image the size of a thumbnail in a new window

Can anyone tell me how I can generate a thumbnail that will develop a full size picture upon clicking on it?

cheers,
Adrian.

If you put a picture link between the tags the system will now reduce the size if it is over the width in your profile (You did select a photo width didn't you :laughing6: ) and if you click on the picture the original photo will open in another window. This way people can select the size of photos they want.

Thanks Bill, for clearing that up. I kept looking for a "re-size me"button to click on but realised later that the option was snuggled up in the Profile section! :)
Actually, a "re-size me button" would work great right now after the eat-a-thon holiday season!

Testing one of your images for thumbnail sizing:

:?

I thought I fixed it already...?

I see the thumbnails on my original post and when I click on them, a full size image pops up in a new window.

Is that what you are seeing?

What I'm seeing is full size images on your post and I'm seeing a thumbnail on my post just above. When I click on my thumbnail, then a larger picture then comes up.

That is strange... :?

I changed the Default Photo Width in pixels value to 50 last night, and I'm seeing thumbnails myself.

I don't mean to be cruel to those on dial-up, but short pasting links, I'm not sure what I can do....

I'm not quite sure how the Profile setting effect each person, but click on the link below and it will take you directly to my "thumbnail test" post. Once there, then click on the "Quote" in the upper right corner of the post and then you will be able to see links I used to get a thumbnail. I don't know a lot about posting these, but I just copied someone's thumbnail post and substituted your information in the links.

BTW, I do have high speed internet connection and it does take a few seconds to load the page with all the pictures.

I've changed all the links as suggested.
Do you see any difference?

Apologies to all dial-up users for the unintended many, large picture post.

cheers,
Adrian.

Ho Adrian (as spoken like Rocky Balboa),

The top 6 in your 1st post are perfect thumbnails :) . The last 4 must have something wrong in the links. The last 4 show a missing image sign.
