Here's a fine specimen of Yushania maling that I would be pleased to trade for a Fargesia "Nymphenburg" second generation(2G), or F. "Juizhaigou" Nos. 2, 4, or 8. A thing about this Y. maling is that it is water-hungry here in northern Puget Sound.
I can deliver; Puget Soundly.

No go on the F.j.4. May have some by summers end. Have some Chimonocalamus pallens and Chusquea culeou Lliama available now and will have Fargesia frigida, Yushania boliana and Fargesia scabrida late spring or early summer. The LLiama mother plant came from Seattle. Rgds

Fred, you must have some oceanic summer heat moderation there. I'm starting to search for more heat tolerant clumpers up this way.

I thought this exchange was in Puget Sound based on the thread. Hard to navigate this site.8

Brad - Madman Bamboo is just up the road. He has a better grasp of your zone than I do. He has a plant list on www.madmanbamboo.com Looks like a good baseline to determine what to acquire?purchase. Looks like mountain bamboos can thrive. Check my plant list after you have a better idea of what you want. Use email - less confusion. Rgds
