Lako and V Wamin to trade

Post by Jerry »

I have 2 Lako and 6 Vulgaris Wamin very young plants that just aren't making the cut out in Myakka City. The last 2 winters have been brutal and they need a warmer home. The Lako is in the ground (easily removed) and the wamin are in pots. I can take some pictures tomorrow and post them. I would be interested in trading for anything that's a little more 20's tolerant. If anyone is interested let me know.

I'm interested in Wamin. Would you be interested in B. ventricosa 'kimmei'?

Thanks but no. Basically the same cold tolerance. The wamin are considerably larger and would be tough to ship.

Sorry no pics today. I didn't get a chance to make it out to the farm. I'll get them tomorrow.

Here they are, a little late. I get distracted so easily sometimes. These plants have been in the ground for over 2 years now. The cold has nearly killed them the last 2 winters. The wamin have been protected in pots under the oak tree. I forgot about taking pics of them today but will try to remember tomorrow. If I don't find homes for these I will probably put them in large pots and bring them inside the barn this winter.

They won't survive in my neck of the woods but thanks for the offer. Rgds
