No floods here, actually, rain stopped here when it went on a rampage a little bit more to the east. We've had winds that knocked down trees and uncovered a few houses, but things were OK around here. A bit more to the east, people got hit really hard. I think this is the first time in 20 years after ex. Yugoslavia fell apart, that all the countries that were sometimes part of the same country, cooperated in large scale humanitarian missions. Takes nature to make people forget about haterage and war.

Things are extreme down there and may get even worse. Weather predictions show that temperatures will rise above 30C, which means conditions will become ideal for all kinds of diseases to spread. At the moment biggest problem is lack of clean water, electricity and practically everything else, there are mines that got moved by landslides and by moving water. Landslides are huge problem too, whole areas got devastated when slopes started to erode. There are videos on YT... Horror.

Best of luck to them, they've more than their share of misery before this even started. Hopefully some humanity will prevail and the nastiness from certain quarters will ease in coming years.
