Our farm is fully up and running. 95 chickens. If you want to laugh along with us you can follow our adventures here: http://threesistersfarmtx.com/ I am going to try an update regularly, but we'll see how long that lasts.
I am loving the family working together on the farm. Seeing our 5 & 8 year olds doing chores and growing up makes me very proud.
The farm truck is getting some love too...
And if that wasn't enough I decided to start brewing again...

I can see keeping 4 chickens in the backyard, but 95? Your yard doesn't seem that big (thinking back to photos you've posted).
Keeping it from the HOA is one thing, but is that even legal in your city?

Hahahaha! I don't have all the chickens in our yard. We have 3.5 acres.Alan_L wrote:I can see keeping 4 chickens in the backyard, but 95? Your yard doesn't seem that big (thinking back to photos you've posted).

I thought the info on your blog said that you had the chickens at the house. I must have misread thankfully.

Just think of all the fertilizer he would have for those suburban bamboos with that many chickens they're! His groves would rival some of those huge Florida ones!
