Mapping ideas

Post by Matt W »

Anybody have a good idea on creating a map of your bamboo plantings? My plan now is taking a screen shot from Google satellite view and just hand sketching in aproximate areas. Just wondering if there is a better way that I'm missing. The Google shot is several years old, before any bamboo came here and somewhat out of focus. I think it would be nice if there were a way to do it online that would be easy to change as needed.
Thanks .. Matt

Google Earth does allow you to mark points, draw lines, color areas and put your own graphics on the map. A handheld GPS can find the coordinates of a location down to 6 feet or less, depending on how it is used.
Southern Indiana.
My Bamboo List.

The legal issues that will arise when the undead walk the earth are legion, and addressing them all is well beyond what could reasonably be accomplished in this brief Essay. Indeed, a complete treatment of the tax issues alone would require several volumes.

Thanks foxd,
Sounds like what I have in mind if I can figure out how to use it.
