Giant Moso Shooting Pics On Lewis Bamboo website
I just saw some unbelievable photos of new Moso shoots on Lewis Bamboo website. 5-6inches diameter "BIG MOSO". Most of us in the colder zones can only dream about

Hello King,
Yes. They have a beautiful grove. I've seen it in each of the last 3 years, and it gets more impressive each year. I have a FS from their grove that just began to shoot this year, and it looks like it going to size up very nicely. I was very happy that it began shooting after the last freeze, and we only had a couple of frosts after that which required the new shoots to be covered with mulch. I planted it on a NW slope in clay/forrest litter soil, with a solid 1/2 day of sun. Maybe I lucked into the proper combination here. Now it's wait and see.
Did you check out Roger Sr. square bamboo project? Very cool.

That site updates quite frequently. I've checked out both subjects of interest. Square moso, kids could have fun playing blocks with that.

They did look great.
A pretty vase probably would come in handy with the new mosquito wiggler craze! Just set on porch, add water, and presto! Watch the beautiful creatures in the water. It reminds me of past, present, future of the seamonkey hype.
Oh yeah, what were we talking about?
