Native Bees

Post by Alan_L »

Here's a great webpage on native bees:

http://www.attra.org/attra-pub/nativebee.html

Not really applicable to growing bamboo, but for a healthy ecosystem (of which bamboo is a part) the native bees are essential.

Worth a look. There's a downloadable PDF of the publication too.

Love Bees but they do not love me. Allmost all honey bees down here are Africanized so if I find any hives in my mowing area they got to go. Use one part soap two parts liquid Sevin. Damn I hate killing bees.

i plant lots of basil because native bees love it.
