Anyone use a L-3400 or L-4400? Have any comments on the above?

Yeah, it was my annual trip to rub all the paint off new tractors. I am wanting an FEL w/4wd. I was thinking L-3400DT, but now think L-4400DT, smoother 3pt.

The B series will cover your needs. Maybe a little bigger than my B2920 for your auger but then maybe not. Bring your auger down here and we can test how my tractor handles it.

I bought a new Mahindra 5530 with front end loader and 6' shredder for $19776 with nothing down and 0% interest for 5 years. The more I researched the best one to buy... the more I found people that purchased Mahindra really liked them. The tractor is really heavy and lifts more than other tractors from John Deere in the same size. BTW... it also has a 5 year warranty. I don't know anyone else that has that kind of warranty.

It was very hard to find any complaints on the Internet from people that bought a Mahindra. I really like it so far. They have an 8" chipper that is next on my list that is PTO driven. The dealer is going to get one so that I can take some bamboo over to try it out on. I am going to give it a try with dried 5" B. vulgaris and maybe a 4" dried B. Bambos. If it goes through that ok, then I am going to take it home.

You can see the tractor I purchased at: http://www.mahindrausa.com/tractorDetai ... p_ID=30164

Here is more information on the Front End Loader: http://www.mahindrausa.com/attachmentDe ... p_ID=99102

It has an easy system of taking off the bucket so you can add a pallet fork or front end bale spear. The pallet fork may come in handy for the really big pots.

I'll come down to drive the B, as I'd like to see what it is like compared to my BX2660.
