I hope not. He took enough abuse last time. This is one that I do not want, so that probably means it will flatten my house. It looks like it could get big.

Texas has had one to the south one to the east. Seems like Mother Nature has been doing rangeing shots. My guess would be Galveston is next.

We have been getting lots of rain over the past 2 weeks... every single day. If we get hit with a big storm... even a small hurricane at this point, this place may not be habitable. I hate to go out to the farm... just too much rain. Let's see.... who has been complaining the most about the need for rain... let's send Gustav that way..  :P

I don't think the real models are as stable as the joke. They are all over the map each update.

Boy, I hope it doesn't come this way. We got 2" of rain on Fri and then Fay dumped 6" of rain on us Sun night. Water stands bad on my property after a heavy rain; I have small lakes and Ibis' fishing for worms in the front pasture. It's already mud everywhere, the golf cart leaves black tracks of mud and I have to wear rubber boots to feed the horses. Anywhere but here!

If you are happy the hurricane is going somewhere other than where you live; just wait! There's more coming.

As I go out, make more mud tracks and pile up the trees and limbs downed by Fay, all I can say is: Come on November!

Make sure you fill up your gas tanks, I'm sure prices will be going up in the next few days.

Well we often get the Gulf storms up here so given no rain for about a month I am hoping it comes up here - sadly though that means someone south of me will get seriously whacked and I don't wish that on anybody.

The year of Katrina, those 3 storms really saved us and was the only rainfall for several weeks, can't remember the names but we got 4 inches from Katrina and 2 others and I need it again, my Vivax Aureocaulis is starting to drop leaves and I won't water her so rain is the only shot she has this fall.
