I just saw that new movie the Forbidden kingdom, and it had without a doubt the best forests of bamboo(moso) I have ever seen. Some of the scenes where they are traveling through it and such were just amazing. It certainly beats Crouching Tiger. Unbelievable.
Has anyone else watched this yet?

Like Kyuzo (pictured above) in "The Seven Samurai," I've "...Killed (more than) two..." bamboos.

Haven't seen it yet, but if the bamboo is as amazing as it was in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," I'm definitely going.

Due to having little kids my next movie will probably be Kung-Fu Panda.

I think the bamboo in this movie is even better than Crouching tiger. Really amazing.CadyG wrote:Haven't seen it yet, but if the bamboo is as amazing as it was in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," I'm definitely going.
Mantis, if you can get a chance it is worth watching, although some of the movie is pretty obvious. The movie has a comical tone to it. Jet Li plays a monkey king pretty well

this movie is coming to DVD in less than 2 weeks, so it is now sitting atop my Netflix queue.
