Re: another image test
This photo takes up about 75 percent of the width of my 17 inch monitor. For me, I just lost 25 percent of the value of my 17 inch monitor. From your results, more people are using a 19 inch monitor than any other size of monitor. That leaves them with about 50 percent screen usage for the image. Are we shooting for the smallest size are the current standard?

Actually I want to make the size selectable from each users profile.

Now that would be ideal.

Re: another image test
If I recall correctly tho, the most common screen resolution setting is 1024x768 and this is what determines what will fit on-screen, regardless of monitor size.Roy wrote:This photo takes up about 75 percent of the width of my 17 inch monitor. Anyway, Bill's fix is a great piece of work. It should help keep everybody happy, which isn't an easy thing to do.

When I go to 1024 x 768 everything is so small I have a hard time reading the text or seeing any detail in the images.Thuja wrote:If I recall correctly tho, the most common screen resolution setting is 1024x768 and this is what determines what will fit on-screen, regardless of monitor size.Roy wrote:This photo takes up about 75 percent of the width of my 17 inch monitor. Testing, testing... 1, 2, 3, 4. Can anyone hear me?
For $800, I see a 37" monitor, 1366x768 pixels. Sit back a little ways, and that might do the trick.
