I have a few different seedlings here and this one is so far the most interesting because of its curling branching habit.

Mike, my Dendrocalamus asper seedlings from over 1 year ago have over 1inch diameter canes now and fill some nice 25gal containers.
You want some special B Bonds Balco mix to beef them up...?

Your luck with seedlings is about like mine. My B. tuldoides seedlings are 5 years old now and about 6 feet tall and pencil size diameter.

I have another seedling that is upright growing & of much larger stature. Here's a picture from the same time last summer:

It's hard to believe these are siblings.

Booking, yes, please send over a shipment of your famous Triple B foot powder, I could always use it. One of my D. strictus had good growth too at 3/4" last fall before I dug it up, but it took this whole year for it to recuperate. I didn't expect it to set root as deeply as it did in only a few months planted out. Now it's looking good again but it still could use your Jersey Triple B mix. (BTW, how are you storing your asper plants this winter? Garage?)

This year I have a friend's nursery and greenhouse to overwinter my plants. The only problem is I may need to rent a U-Haul truck to bring them down there and it's 3hours away but he's got an acre under glass and the roofs are pretty high Grow Dendro Grow...
