Hey All,

I just had a friend return from Costa Rica where he took a few pictures of some bamboo. Knowing my interest, he forwarded his pictures to me. I have no idea what these are? Bambusoides? Can anyone help to ID?

In the meantime, all my girls are getting covered in snow and waiting for the first hint of spring.

Nope, definitely not bambusoides, perhaps Bambusa or more likely Dendrocalamus. I'm not familiar with tropical giants, and we are looking at one here. Very nice.
