Good afternoon to all. Thanks for having me. I have bamboo in the Pocono mountains, but it came from northern New Jersey. Right now it is located on the north side of a large shed. It is spreading and only about 6 feet tall. The "grove" it came from was about 20 feet tall, but in the sun. Before I relocate, I'd like to know if it is running or clumping. I feel like how it is growing right now in complete shade is that it is "just surviving," so I'm not sure if what we see in its behavior is indicative of what it will be in the sun. So, I wonder if this is a clumping or running variety. (You will also see attached a photo of 2 "clumps" that I brought up last night.)
Hopefully, this link will work

Re: Bamboo ID wanted for NE Pennsylvania
Looks like it is probably a runner from the second picture, probably a Phyllostachys. Hard to ID better without picture of shoots, or at least a close up of mature culms(shoots).
