I just got back from a trip to Thailand and Indonesia and came across this beauty at a temple in Badung-Mengwi, Bali. I'm not familiar with most tropical bamboos. Can you identify this one?

Possibly a species of genus Gigantochloa.

The aussies are growing something rather like this from Bali, called Gigantochloa 'Tiying Papah'

It looks like the Gigantachloa pseudoarundinacea (spelling?) that I used to container grow. Lovely bamboo.
