Clumper in Bali, Indonesia

Post by kudzu9 »

I just got back from a trip to Thailand and Indonesia and came across this beauty at a temple in Badung-Mengwi, Bali. I'm not familiar with most tropical bamboos. Can you identify this one?

Possibly a species of genus Gigantochloa.

It looks like the Gigantachloa pseudoarundinacea (spelling?) that I used to container grow. Lovely bamboo.
