Any idea what kind of bamboo is this?

My friend cut it a few week ago, so its just 50cm tall. Any idea what kind of bamboo is this?

A picture of the emerging shoot would help a lot(probably have to wait until next year at this point). Also not sure of your location, which might help narrow it down. It might be a type of Phylostachys.

Definitely a Phyllostachys, possibly Phyllostachys aureosulcata. Even though I don't see yellow in the sulcus the nodes themselves remind me of it.
