I bought this as p. viridiglaucescens from a local nursery, but after seeing shoots of the species online that look rather different, I wonder if that's what it really is. None of my shoots had any hint of brown or spots, just light green with a reddish margin. They look like my rubro, but less red and the shoots taper more. The largest ones are about 12' and .75" now, so I had to take pictures of one that might be getting aborted. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
John M

I doubt it. Take a look at this topic toward the end.
