I bought my black bamboo seeds from a supplier in California.
I planted the seads in October.
Out of 36 seeds, 29 germinated.

Almost 6 months later I have what looks like Kentucky bent lawn grass.
See image.
Is this what black bamboo babies looks like?

Thanks,
Chaz

No, that's not bamboo (sorry). Did you buy the seeds from eBay? There was another poster here who got the same results you did from seed bought on eBay.

Keep in mind as well that it is highly unlikely that black bamboo seeds will produce black offspring, the greatest likelihood is that the next generation will all be green - unless you win the genetic lottery which is certainly possible but very unlikely.
