Dont let spring go by without getting those pics

This is a request ,,There are a lot of photos here ,but trying to find comparisons for I D ,I realize we need more, I'm taking shots of all my shoots this year and I hope all of you do the same,shoots ,branching ,ect any Identifying features,thanks

Good point.

Here's one that there has been some controversy over, so I've been documenting some key identifying features. One thing I didn't do on this one (number 1) was to put something in the image, such as a ruler, so that on can get a comprehension of the size of the features. Ruler is probably the best thing to use, as in the 2nd picture below (number 2).

I better dig tunnels in the snowdrifts scouting for the shoots. I'll feel like a national geographic photographer.


But for real, It'll be quite interesting over the next few years as this photo database evolves.
