Iridescens 'Striata'

Post by David »

Iridescens 'Striata' is sizing up well. Many 3.25" culms this year. Also dug about 20 lbs of shoots last evening.

Holy crap that guy looks a bit vagabond David! Sorry, I don't know what Tap Talk is so I'll be no help.

Had to get a resizing app, resize photo on phone, then upload.

David, I really respect the job you've done with your bamboo groves, you have attained greater sizes than I would have imagined and your grove photos are beautiful - I know it was a lot of hard work so nice job and props to you!

Thank you Brad. Your kind words mean a great deal to me. I learned a lot from you!

Hello Fred. We have an assortment of soils. The Iridescens is growing in creek bottom soil. The soil has been built up over the years by flooding. The creek bottom soil contains sand, humus, and some clay. It also has topsoil from many years of farming the fields that are above the creek before non-till planting became the standard.
